Good old Utah

Eric had a vacation last week and Utah was calling our name.  So we up and went, and it was wonderful!

Highlights included:

- Cousins!!  I wish these kids could see each other more often because they truly love each other.  They enjoyed every second running around together.

-Great-grand parents!

We loved seeing Grandma Verda, Grandpa Ed & Grandma Carol, and celebrating Grandma Richards' 80th birthday!

 - The mountains!!

Sam was in awe of the mountains again!  I forget that he hasn't grown up around mountains at all.  He's totally a midwestern kid.  He loved driving around Salt Lake and going up and down hills in the car...he'd scream and hold on like he was riding a roller coaster.

Eric got to spend a day on the slopes with his brothers and dad.  Then we all went up to the Jensen Family cabin one afternoon and enjoyed sledding and dinner.  Ahhhh...the mountains were gorgeous!

 -More family time!

We loved soaking up time with some of our favorite people!

Our trip was great, but we sure missed seeing the Las Vegas Morgans this time around!  Next time for sure!

Thanks to all who made time for us! We love you and miss you already!!

Light & Dark
Hot & Cold
Up & Down
Boys & Girls

Complete opposites.

Sam and Max pretended to have sisters yesterday and today.  We played with these girls while they're mom was in the hospital having baby sister number three, and my boys were in heaven.

I love when girls come to play with us because I see a whole new side of my boys.  Sam played house all afternoon and took care of stuffed animals and wounded superheroes.  Max wanted to help brush the girls' hair and tried desperately to stick some of their clips and bows on his own head.

But perhaps my favorite thing during the past couple of days was watching all of the kids come down the stairs pregnant and ready to watch a movie.  A definite first for Sam and Max.

A girl can definitely bring out a boy's softer side.
