Sunday Sunshine

We had to take advantage of the beautiful weather today by spending as much time outside as possible. We drove to Perrysberg, a cute little town just 15 minutes away, and enjoyed a walk by the Maumee River this morning. Then we relaxed out on the grass later today! It was marvelous!! We really love Sundays because we get to be with Eric all day long! Only 5 more tests, 12 days, and a 1600 mile drive until we are back in Utah!! We're hardly excited...

Books!

Sam thinks he is pretty cool now that he has figured out how to get his books out of his basket and onto the floor, where he can open them up and "read" them all by himself! He loves books and has become a pro at turning all the pages. Today I caught him climbing into the book basket, instead of throwing them all on the floor. He's so busy!!

A Day at the Zoo...

We spent a fun day at the 'world famous' Toledo Zoo today...thanks to Aaron and Emily! :) We had such a good time! It was so much fun to see Sam's reactions to all of the different animals. He seemed to especially love seeing the big aquarium with all of the fish. It was a gorgeous day here in Ohio and it seems that spring has FINALLY set in! Thanks again to our Spanish Fork Dockters for a fun day!!!!!!

The Spatula

Of all of his toys, Sam's favorite thing to play with is a broken spatula that I gave him to chew on one day. He LOVES this thing! He carries it around with him wherever he goes! Who would have thought?

GO GIANTS!!

We celebrated Eric's birthday by going to Pittsburgh to see his beloved San Francisco Giants play the Pirates. Sam was all decked out in his Giants' gear...thanks to Aunt Janie...and attracted the attention of a couple Giants' players during batting practice. Barry Zito signed Sam's jacket, Barry Bonds hit 2 homeruns, and the Giants won 8-5! We loved Pittsburgh and want to go back...it's a beautiful city! GO GIANTS!

Little Helper...

We're getting a jump on teaching Sam to do chores around the house...loading the dishwasher & folding socks! Next week we'll teach him how to vacuum...

Happy Easter!

So, it didn't exactly feel like Easter here yesterday with it only being 35 degrees! People were wearing gloves and parkas, instead of Easter bonnets and spring dresses! But we still had a great day and Sam seemed to love everything! The Easter Bunny found us all the way out here in holy Toledo, Ohio and we were able to share a fun dinner with friends! Hopefully you all enjoyed a fun day!!
