Max.
He can be so charming at times. He loves to pat my face and tickle my arm. He always offers hugs and is the first to say things like, "You're the best mom, ever!"
He can be sneaky though, and I've found him hiding out in the dark corner by the fireplace snarfing handfuls of chocolate chips.
But he really is adorable.
Then he does stuff like this that makes me squirm.
Meet Max's bug collection.
He worked on this while I folded laundry one morning. All of those little bugs were trying their hardest to escape their tape traps, and the centipede almost succeeded.
Lovely.
Jake.
He is noisy, busy, always hungry, and happy. I think Sam said it best this week, "I can't wait until Jake learns to speak English!"
Jake grunts and grunts and screams and grunts some more. He knows exactly what he wants. He hasn't been too interested in learning any baby signs, so for now his communication involves lots of pointing and like I said, grunting.
He is my climber. He's also at the stage of life where bruises and scratches are just normal.
Especially on his face.
He is a good one though, that Jake.
I love him.
Sam.
He is getting too big too fast. He is my kindergartner lover and is doing so well with all things school related. I've been lucky enough to volunteer in his classroom a handful of times and see him in action. I love it, and I love that for now, he loves me being there.
Eric and I found this little doodle on the back of one of Sam's worksheets from school. He acted sooo embarrassed about it and assured us that the boy in the picture was NOT him.
Hmmmm....
Makes me smile.
We definitely stay busy at our house. Doing all sorts of stuff, I didn't really ever picture myself doing...
but I love it.
So. Much.
Life is good.

Darling boys. I can't believe how big Jake is getting. I love Max's bug collection, and Sam's doodle is hilarious. I didn't realize as kindergartners they would think about that kind of stuff..but Kayla does too :)
I LOVE THOSE FACES....A LOT! XO
