Back to reality in HOLY TOLEDO!

Well, our summer has officially come to an end! We made the long drive back home last weekend after spending a WONDERFUL 3 months in Utah!! Wow...it was so great to be in SLC and see SO much of family! We feel so lucky. It really was the summer to be home with both Josh and Kelsey getting married just 6 days apart! It was kind of a whirlwind summer, but we wouldn't have missed it for anything!!! Sam got completely spoiled while we were home. He definitely misses having everyone around. In fact, he often shrugs his shoulders and says "Aaaaa-eeeeee?" (translation: Ally), as if he's trying to figure out what happened to all of our 'lost' family members!!

In the meantime, things here in Ohio are going great! It's been fun to get settled back into our apartment and see old friends again. Eric started school on Monday and is already back into studying full swing. He's enjoyed his first week of classes...so hopefully that continues. Sam and I are staying busy swimming with the ward's playgroup, going to book club, and walking in the park with the other med students' wives. Life is GOOD!
