Here are a few favorite touristy experiences from The Cape.
Riding Bikes: We rode along the Cape Cod Rail Trail. It had been way too long since Eric or I had been on a bike. We were certain that our legs were going to fall off as we neared the end of our ride. Luckily, they didn't. The boys loved being towed along...especially when Eric would pull them because "he goes way faster than Mom."

Putt Putting: We mini-golfed pirate style in Yarmouth. I lost horribly to Eric, but at least I can still beat Sam.

Whale Watching: Sam is still in love with whales, so we knew that this was an outing we couldn't pass up. As we waited to board the boat, Sam was completely enthralled with the brochure he picked up about whales. He studied the pictures so carefully and talked about how excited he was to see the real thing. He kept his "whale map", as he called it, in his hands the entire time.

Eric and I were a little disappointed as he promptly fell asleep aboard the Dolphin Fleet VIII and wouldn't wake up for anything. I thought for sure he'd miss it all, but luckily he woke up just in time to see this:
It was amazing really.
And just fyi, Sam keeps his whale brochure handy in his backpack, so if any of you have questions about whales he'd be more than happy to help you out.
Lighthouse Hopping: Eric made sure we saw almost every lighthouse possible. They are beautiful, so of course I didn't mind. We always seemed to arrive just as the lighthouse tours were ending, so we never made it inside one of them, but Sam and Max had just as fun running around outside.

Beach Going: I love the ocean. I'm a true Morgan at heart. I would pick an ocean vacation over any other kind of trip anytime. There's just something about being at the beach. It doesn't get better than that.

It looks wonderful. It looks like Sam and Max are becoming little buddies. It makes me excited to add a second baby to our family (No, this is not an announcement. I am not pregnant.) so Willa can have a friend.
