This morning
4:45 am
little feet running into my room
little fingers poking my cheeks
little scared voice
"Mom, I'm totally fweaked out."
groggy mom, "What? Why? What happened?"
"There's 3 shadows on my wall of elephants and it's fweaking me out."
"Oh Bud, they're not real. You're safe, just..."
"But Mom, they are weal. I'm getting in bed with you. Scoot over."
I know someday he's going to be all grown up and I'll miss mornings like this one.
Oh, I love him.

That's so cute! You'll have to print out your blog for them have forever.
We have a flashlight and lately Zach asks for it when he goes to bed. He once said there was a monster under his bed, so now we both feel better that no one is scared.
That picture and story is adorable. So smart to document it!!
My kids have learned that word, too. I think it is funny the slang they pick up on at home. Ooops! Sam is very cute!
This was just precious. Also, Thanks for sharing the Gingerbread men and the story that went with it. I loved Sam's narration. I love you all. Grandma Verda
