It's a bird. It's a plane. It's Sam!
Actually, when he's in costume Sam only answers to Superman. And in return, he only refers to me as Wonder Woman.
Me: Sam, wash your hands please.
Superman: I'm Superman, Wonder Woman. Don't you see the cape?
Me: Oh, how did I miss that? Superman wash your hands.
Superman: Um, sure Wonder Woman. (followed by all sorts of flight sound effects as he flies to the bathroom sink)
All things super-hero are the latest rage at our house these days.
And I am getting a kick out of it!
We walked outside yesterday and Superman was hopeful that the wind would catch his cape and he'd take off into the sky. He tried hard to catch the breeze but was unsuccessful.
Luckily, we have a couple of swings. See how they make his cape fly? They were the perfect solution. Superman actually wanted me to take pictures of him in action.
The Superman attire has hardly come off this week. He does everything in it.
And of course, what super hero doesn't have a sidekick?
Spiderman makes occasional appearances, too.

So crazy to read your post. I was was thinking I needed to do this exact same post for Caden. If he is in his Superman cap he insists I call him superman, I can't just say "brush your teeth" it has to be "superman brush your teeth." Don't you love their imagination? Sam looks so cute in his little superman outfit.
I love every picture, esp the sleeping ones dressed to fight crime! Cohen is all "doggy Cohen" lately, maybe it's a sign of what he should be for Halloween!

such handsome super-heroes! very cute pics. i can tell dress-up is very different in a house of two brothers. i took a pic of kai yesterday with a snow white tiara on his head..poor boy :)

Are these their Halloween costumes for this year? Where did you get them? Sam is so funny. I love reading all the funny things he says! He is very cute! And Wonder Woman describes you perfectly!

Awesome! Andrew is "Andrew kitty" lately...yeah, pretty masculine! He even has Paige "meowing" at the most ridiculous times of day. He even "meowed" mid prayer (that he was saying) just to make sure I knew his true identity. He also will only respond to "kitty," and I also get the reprimand if I mess it up. I am "Momma Kitty." It doesn't sound very well to me, but it hasn't come up in public yet.
I feel like I just had a little visit with you all. What fun little boys and busy momma and dad. Love you all. Grandma
