It has seemed nearly impossible to describe the wonder land of ice we've seen around here the past week.  I've tried to explain to family far away what it's like, but words just can't do it justice.  

"It's like icy, icy."

"You could literally put on your ice skates and skate all around the neighborhood."

"You would die to see this.  It's, um, like, unreal."

See?  I'm no good at descriptions.

Thankfully, Eric pulled out the camera one evening and got some good shots of our 'neighborhood turned ice skating rink.'  I think these pictures do the ice justice. 

Do you get what I mean now by 'icy, icy?'

In other news, we spent most of last week at home since everything (even church!) was canceled.  We made messes mostly...

and played lots of hide and seek.  Oh, and I'm sure thankful for Netflix.  It definitely saved me more than a few times this week!
