Let's just say that this little Jake is one patient guy.  His big brothers love him, and I mean LOVE him.  Max kisses him about 1,100 times a day and Sam keeps asking when he'll be old enough to carry Jake around the house.  Yikes!

I must admit that I was a little worried about how Max would react to a baby, but he is so gentle, loving and sweet to his baby brother.  (He's been a little hostile towards me at times, but better to take it out on his mom, right?!)

Max even shares his favorite toys with the new kid in the house.  How sweet is that?

 My three sons.
I'm still in awe of the fact that I have THREE sons.
Three.  3.  Tres.
Holy cow.

Coming home from the hospital was a tad overwhelming.  I cried, to be totally honest.  Not because I didn't want to come home, but because I suddenly felt totally inadequate for the task of caring for three little lives.  It was chaos for a few minutes.

But thankfully my mom was there to calm my fears and get Sam and Max out of the house to release a bit of their never ending energy.
My mom was an angel and took such good care of us.  Why, oh why, does she live so far away?

Then I was doubly lucky because my dad came to town and helped keep Sam and Max busy, too.  The older boys had so much fun with Gram and Pops and felt totally special.

I am 100% positive that we wouldn't have survived those first few days without my parents' help.  There's just no way!

It's amazing to me how much a little baby can change your life.  Crazy how such a tiny person can add so much.

Yes, life will be busier and more chaotic, but I wouldn't change it.
Jake is the perfect addition.

If you know Eric at all, then you won't be surprised to know how Jake spent his first Saturday on earth...

Go Cougs!

Great pictures, you even look great in the delivery room. You will be okay even with 3, being worried is a sign that you care enough to try. *Hugs*

What a wonderful post. I cried and laughed.
My favorite is the picture of you and the 3 boys and you looking like "AHHhhhh!" I so know the feeling. You are a great mother of boys and will continue to be. So glad you had parents to help!

3 boys?!?! so ridiculous! I love all of your pictures, too. I'm not a fan of babies in buckets and in weird poses in hands and whatnot- but all of your pictures are just perfect. natural and simple. you are amazing with pictures!!

Oh my goodness...he is absolutely gorgeous! Which really shouldn't be much of a surprise given how handsome your other 2 boys are. You really make some beautiful boys. I do have 3 girls by the way if your boys are looking around later on in life...ha, ha! Kelsey had told me you finally posted pics...but as you know with every addition you have less time for the things you want to do. So I am barely getting around to seeing them. Congrats on Jake! He does look like the perfect addition!Kristen McKinnon

What an adorable family! I am so jealous of the BYU attire! Lindsay you are such a cute mom and those three little guys are so lucky to have you and Eric as their parents. I loved the pictures and can't wait for Jake to meet Zac! (They probably hung out before they came down so meet again). You do have a great Mom and a pretty great Dad. Lots of love, the Hanks
