You know how sometimes things work out so perfectly it's like they were just meant to be?
I love when that happens, and it happened to us a couple of weeks ago!
Somehow we were able to reunite with some of our favorite people from Toledo.
Notice how I said some...there were some favorites were missing, of course.
First, the Ericksens came down from Michigan for a quick Indy visit. We met little Dallin for the first time, watched Sam and Hailey pick up right where they left off, and smiled as Max and Spencer hit it off as little buddies. And Cyndi, she is one of those friends that I admire so much. She's positive, hardworking, happy, and just seems to have things under control. And that is no easy task when you're a mother of 4 and the wife of a busy resident. She's been a role model of mine since day one. I am grateful for her.
We headed to Toledo a couple days later to celebrate at a baby shower with friends from all over the midwest. It was so, so fun to reunite with families who had such a big impact on us during medical school. I absolutely loved every minute we were together! There were lots of new babies to meet, lots of catching up to do, and lots of pictures to take. I love these people. All of them.
Toledo, Ohio will always be one of my favorite places.

Thanks for hosting us when we came through! We had a blast:-) On the way back home Spencer was asking whose house we were going to next. He wanted to go back to Max's house. I am also glad you posted some pics, because I accidentally deleted a lot of the pictures from the visit with you and Leisy. Ugh! Anyways, the doors are always open in Kansas:-)
