Lovely.

Considering that Sam will be turning 2 in two weeks, we've decided to start giving him a lot more responsibility around the house. It's about time he starts pulling his own weight around here! One such responsibility is putting dirty clothes into his hamper at night. Now normally this is a job that is virtually impossible to mess up, but tonight he proved me wrong. This is where I found the dirty clothes:

Now mind you, I found these after I put Sam to bed and told him over and over what a great helper he is and how proud of him I am...perfect!

I think I've done that several times in my childhood. Honest mistake, really. ;)

Just watch out when he is potty training. Make sure he doesn't pee in the laundry basket. I'd take clothes in the toilet over that!

That's hilarious! At least he put them in a place you would find them!! :) hehehe
I remember the boys helping me by throwing things away in the garbage can under the sink (just like they saw me do) ... not just diapers and things I ask, but keys, checkbooks, ... So, just check to make sure you have everything vitally important before you take out the trash! :)

He IS a great helper, and a creative one too! Love you.

I guess he didn't like those clothes. At least you have some really good stories to tell.

At least he didn't flush! Two-year-olds are so much fun.

I love it! Good work, Sam. Just be glad you don't also have a 3-year old who doesn't flush. Now that could have been a serious problem.

Lindsay, I am proud of you, teaching him to be responsible. He just didn't quite get the picture. As a teacher, it usually took about three times to teach a new skill. Good luck. Grandma VERDA
