February is sneaky. Despite it only have 28 days, it is no doubt always the longest month of the year for us. We ALWAYS get sick, and this year has been worse than any other.
But on a positive note, February of 2009 helped me gain yet another HUGE appreciation for my mom. This hit me as I spent most of last week cleaning up vomit...you never realize all that moms do until you have to do it yourself!! This was the first time that Sam got a stomach bug, and he got it bad! Luckily, it's all behind us now (fingers crossed) and we can once again join you people on the outside world! We're so DANG excited to get out of the house again. Here are some pictures of our week trapped indoors....

One thing that did make my week great, was getting a Valentine flower from each of my boys...

Cute cute! When mom reads that it's gonna make her nose hurt! We can't wait for March either, just a few weeks until we get to see you guys!
maybe you should skip February next year! I don't like you guys being sick either because we miss you at all the activities.
Ugh, you really have had a tough couple of weeks. I'm glad you're done having your nose and arms in vomit...what a fun indoor activity, eh?

Yep...it made my nose hurt...mostly cause I felt helpless here in SLC while you were deep in vomit!!! So glad you are all feeling better...Saint George is going to be 65 degrees today!!!...wish we were all there!!! xoxo
poor sam..throwing up is terrible and having to clean it up is even worse! kayla has had a few throwing up episodes and it's tramatized the poor girl..everytime she hick-ups or burps to checks with me to make sure she's not throwing up :(

Yay for blog stalking! This is Katie (Lovett) Folsom. I just had my second baby boy and his name is Max, too! Maybe some day they'll meet and be friends. :o)
sam looks so skinny in the one pic of him playing with trains!! I'm so glad that you guys are feeling better! let's hope we are all in the clearing for illnesses now. I'd LOVE if we made it a winter without some deathly illness! sorry you guys didn't fare so well but thanks for not passing the germs along :)

Dear Lindsay, Eric, Sam and Max. I am sure happy that today is the first of March and that February is behind you. It is a long month, because it is usually cold and miserable. I am happy you are all well and that we will be seeing you before long. Today is Russell Lasson's 30th birthday. You are too young to remember, but 30 years ago, we were blessed with four little grandsons, all born within six weeks of one another. Russell is the last one we are celebrating today. Yippee!
