My days.

How do I spend my time these days?  Hmmm, let's see.  Well, lately when the sun is shining I like to sit and watch my boys catch bugs.  Sam does the scouting and searching; while Max does all of the grabbing, touching, and actual capturing.  Sam wouldn't dare touch a bug, unless it's a good old potato bug.  He leaves the spiders, ants, and other orange and black things to his kid brother, who doesn't fear much at this point in life.

When the catchings are slim, Max is quick to resort to prayer.  "Heavenly Father, I like bugs.  Amen."

His little prayers were answered, and quickly I might add.  They each had 3 or 4 bugs in their jars.

When the days aren't so sunny and warm we like to spend our time building forts.  We haven't seen much of Eric lately and he's the professional fort architect.  So, I do what I can.  Sam always grumbles at my poor attempts of fort building, but when I offer flashlights and bowls of animal crackers the low ceilings and tipping chairs suddenly go unnoticed.

The idea of having 3 boys is a little intimidating to me.  Okay, it's a lot intimidating to me.  But I think I've got a pretty good start at things so far.  I just to need learn to make my forts a tad bigger and acquire a few more mason jars for bug catching.

Then I think I'll be set.

I love that Max was praying for bugs and that he will touch them. We could use him around here so I could stop getting out the vacuum every time there is a bug.
